Following on from our success in the Kentico 404 awards we’re delighted to have won in the annual global Umbraco awards.

The Umbraco 2017 Awards took place at Odense, Denmark at Umbraco’s signature community event - Codegarden.  Codegarden gathers delegates from all over the world to learn and to celebrate the “world’s friendliest CMS”.

To pick a winner for the Best Designed Site, Umbraco wanted to be blown away by the designs, not only visually but also for their functionality and web standards. We knew that our own site would tick all of the boxes and so we entered netconstruct.co.uk.

We wanted our website to have a simple yet beautiful design, full of colour and imagery with a clear display of the business’s services and client successes. The judges praised netconstruct.co.uk’s integrated animations and other features saying, “The look and feel of the site are not only great, but netconstruct.co.uk innovatively uses the design to nudge the users to keep navigating and scrolling.”

In front of an audience of over 500 Umbraco experts we were recognised as the overall winner in the Best Designed Site category. Given that over 400,000 sites built by over 200,000 professionals are running Umbraco, this is an exceptional achievement.
